Our History
In 2017, Matt Cline founded Restored Ministries to equip individuals and churches to have victory over the epidemic of pornography and sexual brokenness in our world.
Matt has been a leading speaker and coach in Canada on the topic of sexual brokenness since 2014 and has seen countless lives radically changed all around the world through his ministry. He is trained as a John Maxwell Group coach and speaker and is a Gateway School of Ministry graduate.
At first, Restored was mostly an offline ministry, doing in-person coaching and live events around western Canada.
In the summer of 2020, Restored launched interactive online programs while also being featured by multiple media outlets with large audiences. This led to an explosion of growth that has continued to this day.
Men and women from all over the world have now gotten free of sexual addictions and various forms of trauma through the support of Restored Ministries.
Our Approach
The transformative power of the Holy Spirit is the main focus in all of Restored's teaching and support programs. Through combining biblical approaches, up-to-date scientific research, and powerful coaching techniques, individuals consistently have safe, face-to-face interactions with the deep pain in their hearts that has been silently holding them captive for years.
Behaviour modification is a minor focus, but godly transformation of the spirit, heart, and mind is where most of the time is spent. This is what leads to lasting freedom, which is the goal with each person.

Hello!
I live in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada with my wife, Louise, and two young boys, David and Oliver. After 3.5 years of speaking about pornography in various churches and organizations, Louise and I started Restored Ministries in 2017. Since then, the ministry has reached thousands around the world in more than 120 countries.
After 10 years of addiction to pornography, I decided that I was done. For over two years, I barely thought about porn and was hardly tempted. I thought I'd be free of it forever. You're probably thinking, "If only it was THAT easy!"
Well, I was naive. I didn't grow myself at all, had no idea whether or not my heart was healthy, and didn't give one thought to God revealing lies I believed about Him, myself, or sex. Because this left me susceptible, I fell back into porn and an addiction that was far worse than I had ever experienced in the first ten years.
The second time I quit porn was a much different story.
God was part of the process and He taught me how intimacy with Him is a practical thing we can bring into our hardships, our sexuality, our temptations, and our every moment.
Intimacy with Christ is the foundation of everything we will guide you through and it's why so many have already gotten free through Restored Ministries.
